Emily Meehan Emily Meehan is the Interim Head of School. She has experience in Childcare administration as well as teaching Kindergarten and Pre-school. She has also been involved in creating and implementing volunteer outreach programs in the Rochester community. In addition she has experience in running school age summer and after care programs. Emily was part of the instructional design team that created the current GSS model and has been a part of Good Shepherd since she was a child. Mrs. Meehan graduated Suma Cum Laude from Dallas Baptist University with a BA in Religious Education. She is currently pursuing a MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Plymouth University. Mrs. Meehan enjoys running and hiking as well as horseback riding. Carroll Stevens Carroll Stevens teaches choir to students in logic and rhetoric. He oversees the music department and leads Good Shepherd’s development team. Mr. Stevens taught at Good Shepherd with his wife, Susie, from 1991 to 1994. Since that time, they have worked with Wycliffe Bible Translators in West Asia. Mr. Stevens received his Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan in 1991. He is currently working on his Master of Music Education degree from Gordon College. He has extensively studied linguistics and ethnomusicology through the Summer Institute of Linguistics. Mr. Stevens is a member of the New Hampshire Music Educators’ Association, a division of the National Association for Music Education. He has had an article published in Ethnodoxology, a journal dedicated to the promotion of indigenous worship through the arts. Hiking, good stories, history, baseball, spending time with family, and, of course, music-making are all favorite activities of Mr. Stevens. He is also interested in missions and international travel. Mary Clark Mary Clark came to Good Shepherd School in 2001 with her three children. That year she assisted Mrs. Linda Nienhouse in the Junior High class, and taught 7th grade math and Biology. The next year she moved into the front office and has been the Assistant Administrator until present. Mrs. Clark received her BS in Industrial Engineering in 1985 from University of Wisconsin in Madison, and then received her MS in Industrial Engineering in 1989 from the same institution. She took graduate studies in Health Care management as well. Mrs. Clark began a career in Systems Engineering in the medical field, working at the University Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, and then at Harvard Community Health Care in the Boston area. After having children, she began homeschooling, tutoring in the Rochester School District and teaching Adult Education at Stratham Tech Community College before coming to Good Shepherd School. Mrs. Clark enjoys her family, reading, watching a good video and trying to stay active. |
